Bath to Avebury Standing Stones – Transfer Time 1 hour
Visit Avebury
Avebury is a picture-perfect village, which has sprung up around yet another extraordinary prehistoric site. The enormous stone circle here is the largest in Britain and was erected at roughly the same time as Stonehenge, between 2850-2200 BC. This mysterious monument also contains two smaller inner stone circles. Wander freely through the stones and let your mind and imagination run free.
