Cross the small stretch of water via the Chainlink Ferry and onto the Studland Peninsula and the start of the Jurassic Coast. Stop for a visit to the Norman Era Corfe Castle, moving onto Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. Explore the Roman and Medieval Town of Dorchester and from there visit the 10th Century Giant at Cerne Abbas. Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – AONB , is Thomas Hardy Country one of the most beautiful areas in all of England, little has changed here over the last few centuries. We will stop enroute for refreshments and to take in the views. Arriving at Poole Harbour, one of the largest natural harbours in the world, but also one of the most shallow and take in the Vistas.

Poole Harbour to Studland Point Nature Reserve and Corfe Castle- transfer time 30 mins
Visit Studland and Corfe Castle
Using the Sandbanks Chain Ferry across to Studland Point Beach and Nature Reserve, taking in the Vistas and beach and then heading onwards to the 11th Century Corfe Castle built by William the Conqueror, time will be allowed for lunch at the National Trust Cafe or Local Pub.-
Corfe Castle to Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door – transfer time 30 mins
Visit Lulworth and Durdle Door
Lulworth Cove is one of the worlds finest example of such a landform, Durdle Door is famous Coastal Arch a short distance away, enjoy the stunning natural limestone arch in all its beauty.-
Durdle Door to Dorchester and Pundbury – transfer time 30 mins

Dorchester is a Medieval and Roman Market Town, located nearby is the “NEW” Town of Poundbury created by King Charles during his time as the Prince of Wales and Duchy of Cornwall.-
Poundbury to Sherborne and Cerne Abbas – transfer time 30 mins
Visit Sherborne and Cernes Abbas
Stop and admire Sherborne’s famous High Street and Abbey, stopping enroute at Cerne Abbas to admire the famous 10th Century Giant carved into the Hillside.-
Cerne Abbas to Bath – transfer time 90 minutes
At the end of the day, you will be dropped off at your hotel, or agreed location in Bath at approximately 6pm. Your guide will be happy to make recommendations if you wish to sample one of the many fine local restaurants on offer for the evening.
