TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Tour Bookings for Travel, Half Day, Full Day, and Bespoke Tours:

 
1.1 The terms and conditions below apply to the trips, travel, and tours operated by Bath Travel & Tours. Once you have made a Bath Travel & Tours booking, you acknowledge and agree that you will be bound by the terms and conditions below. You will be asked to accept the terms & conditions when confirming your booking.
 
1.2 Payment cancellation and exchange terms apply to all bookings made via the Bath Travel and Tours booking system.
 
1.3 Tours booked on all bank holidays will incur a surcharge of £100 for a half-day tour and £150 for a full day.
 
1.4 UK law requires seat belts to be worn by all occupants of a moving vehicle unless exemptions apply
 
1.5 UK law forbids smoking or vaping in any Private Hire Licensed Vehicle. 
 
1.6 Children of all ages are welcome on all tours with prior agreement, but regardless of their age, the maximum number of passengers per minibus is 8 persons.
 
1.7 With advance notice, it may be possible for Bath Travel & Tours to supply a suitable child seat(s) with an additional charge, this is available during the booking process, please note its not a requirement to use a child seat in a private hire vehicle, its at your discretion.
 
1.8 Bath Travel and Tours will collect only data necessary to manage your booking in accordance with our Company Privacy Policy (CPP) which complies with current GDPR law. As stated in our CPP, we will never use your data for targeted advertising or pass your data to any 3rd Party for commercial exploitation.
 
Payment and Booking Confirmation for Travel, Half Day, Full Day and Bespoke Tours:
 
2.1 Full payment for the travel or tour must be received to confirm a booking. 
 
2.2 After a booking is confirmed, you will be sent an email from Bath Travel & Tours showing details of your booking and the payment is taken.
 
2.3 Any currency exchange fees or bank charges you might incur in paying for your tour are additional to the cost of your tour.
 
2.4 All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Your statement will show that you have been charged by “Bathtravelandtours”
 
Booking cancellation & refunds for Tours: 
4.1 All cancellation or exchange requests must be submitted in writing to: [email protected]
 
4.2 You must cancel at least 14 calendar days before the tour starts time to receive a “full” refund, but in the event that you cancel your confirmed tour, you will be liable for any costs that have already been incurred by Bath Travel & Tours on your behalf.
 
4.3 Where admission tickets and/or credit card processing fees have been incurred, they will be deducted from the amount paid and the balance refunded. Most tickets booked and paid for in advance by Bath Travel & Tours cannot be either transferred or refunded, even when cancellation happens with more than 14 days’ notice.
 
4.4 Please also note that certain booking fees might not be refundable. 
 
4.5 If you cancel less than 14 days before the experience’s start time, the full amount you paid will not be refunded. 
 
4.6 Any changes made less than 14 days before the experience’s start time will not be automatically accepted, but it is possible through discussion, some adaptations could be agreed upon.
 
4.7 Cut-off times are based on local time. 
 
4.8 Approved refunds will only be issued to the payment card used to pay for your booking and not by BACS, or to an alternative card. We are not able to issue refunds in cash or by cheque.
 
4.9 Refunds will be issued in GBP; 
 
4.10 Refunds are not available if you don’t turn up on time for the tour you booked, or if you arrive at a time/date different from that shown on your confirmation.
 
4.11 Bath Travel & Tours is not responsible for tour cancellations due to unscheduled closures, industrial action, delays caused by third-party suppliers, or events beyond its control. We will take all possible steps to offer you an alternative date for your tour or even a different itinerary. Any losses you incur are not the liability of Bath Travel & Tours, and you should raise a claim against your travel insurance.
 
4.12 If for any reason, Bath Travel & Tours needs to cancel your booking, we will notify you immediately, and offer you an alternative date, but if that isn’t suitable we will offer you a full refund for your tour. Any additional expenses you may have incurred should be covered by your own travel insurance.
 
4.13 Bath Travel & Tours cancellation policy applies to all bookings from wherever they are made across the World. If you are unable to travel owing to illness, strikes, bad weather, flooding, or any other such disaster, you should seek to recover your costs through your own travel insurance.
 
4.14 Bath Travel & Tours Tours is not liable for any loss, accident, injury, or damage to clients or their personal effects.
 
4.15 We always recommend that you ensure you are comprehensively covered by your personal travel insurance, including cancellation, curtailment, theft or loss, injury, or illness throughout your travels and booked excursions or tours.
 
4.16 Please also note that travel restrictions and government advice regarding Covid-19 (and other pandemics) are constantly changing. It is, therefore important that your travel insurance includes Covid-19 coverage. Our cancellation terms will apply. Please read our Covid-19 Precautions page.
 
Travel & Tour Amendments:  
5.1 Bath Travel & Tours reserves the right to amend the itinerary on the day of your tour, should there be unforeseen circumstances such as road closures, flooding, etc. We always plan to include everything mentioned in the tour description, but it is always possible a change may be imposed through circumstances beyond our control.
 
5.2 Regrettably, we are unable to guarantee any changes to your confirmed tour within 14 days of departure. We will, however, endeavour to make any minor amendments depending on the feasibility of the request.
